The hosting for this site had implemented protections yesterday evening and as of now the official PHP security updates has been rolled out to the majority of the network.  At this time no attack traffic related to this issue has been observed on the network.

Regarding site security I have it set to auto update so should be safe from exploits etc,  but other than user email the site does not ask for any personal info ( name etc).

Next I'm looking at an option to login under your facebook account, which hopefully will make it easier to people to join/ login.  (Its done via API so this site never sees your facebook password etc).
