Squad looks super strong considering we have a few lads away in six nations camp. Ospreys got me a bit nervous away (every team we play makes me nervous previous seasons ptsd) but looking forward to watching Ulster again.
It was just before the 6nations last year when the wheels really came off ( starting with that home loss to Zebra), so yeah i’m nervous too ( granted we are in a far better place in the table currently vs last year
Disappointing. I thought after 12 mins ulster were going to run away with it, but not being able to scrum cost the game. Just kept pinning ulster back in their own half and when they finally got a chance to get out with a penalty, the ball is not thrown straight. Frustrating!
Also I’m sure Jack Murphy was tackled in the air ( just before he hit the ground), and the disallowed try at the end, yes there is head contact, but I don’t think it was directly on his head, he hits the ulster player on the ground first and pushes on to his head, you see that on every 2nd ruck!
The last Ospreys try at first it looks like a he dived on Mike before he scored, but on replay it does like Mike lost control before he dives on him.
Not sure how this all works. Joining from the 606v2 shenanigans. I’m generally deeply pessimistic and contrarian, but hopefully I won’t bring you all down.
Reaction to the Osprey’s game : now we have a defence, can we please have an at least half decent set piece? Scrum or line out, one would do as start.

Thanks for joining Unclear, you had posted in a thread about the ulster subredit, but i moved you post to the correct thread.
To be fair the defence was a positive, but we need to be able to exit once we turn the ball over, better teams won’t take as long to score as the Ospreys
Thanks DS. My poor memory had it that we generally exited ok (particularly with Doak) but then lost a subsequent line out or scrum, putting us straight back under pressure. The scrum was truly awful and the (specialist) coaching has to bear some responsibility for that.
No your correct, when I say exit, I meant what they did after they exited, crooked throw or knock on, scrum, penalty, back on the defence in their 22. As you say their exiting kicks were good.
